Rural Task Force #3 Meeting

A public meeting will be held on Monday, December 16 at 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of allowing local officials and interested citizens to provide input into the allocation of state and federal aid funds for eligible rural routes and transit systems in Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph counties for fiscal years 2025-2029.  The meeting will be held at the Road Commission of Kalamazoo County, 440 S. 26th Street.

Just a quick update to let you know that the DPW is still working 

on picking up leaves.  We understand that not all leaves fall at the same time.  The DPW is in the process of doing a second round, weather permitting.  Please be patient, as we all know, mother nature plays a huge roll in the process.

COLON COMMUNITY PARK BOARD PUBLIC HEARING

The Colon Community Parks Board is having a public hearing to obtain comments from the Colon Community concerning improvements for the Community park, Bordner park, and the Veterans Memorial park.  The board is seeking input from citizens to improve the community parks.  The public meeting is required to implement the 5 year plan, obtain future grants, and comply with DNR requirements.  The 5 year plan can be viewed on the Village website, or a copy can be obtained at the village. office
